Ahh, how fun is the Happy Booth? Loads!! Kate and Luke were really keen to have the Happy Booth {Photo Booth} for their wedding reception at Sirromet..it gets all the guests having loads of fun and is a great way to capture everyone!    

Kate and Luke are such a sweet couple, they came to pick up their album last night and it was soo lovely to see them...and their little bump!! Yay, so excited for them expecting their first little bub a bit later in the year! Their wedding was a really beautiful day down at Sirromet Winery! Kate and the girls got ready at Kate's parents place, it's so lovely to have close family all getting ready together, seeing all their family photos on the wall and the rooms they grew up in. Kate was so relaxed and beautiful, she looked so amazing! We headed on over to Sirromet Winery and saw the boys...

Alina and Andy's wedding is coming up very soon so I thought it would be nice to pop up their engagement photography shoot that we did recently at Fort Lytton and Wynnum. They wanted somewhere a little different and out of the city as their wedding celebrations will be around Newstead and Teneriffe, which we have scouted some great little spots there too! We encountered a little bit of nature out there too, but he was pretty harmless..I hope..I didn't get too close to find out! It's fun to bring some photography props along for your engagement shoot too, I love Alina's little chalkboards on a stick,...

Mandie and Rainer's wedding was a couple of weeks ago now so yes I'm a little behind in blogging but with the help of Wendy we're getting caught up!! Mandie and Rainer were keen on a city engagement shoot around Brisbane, so  we found some great little spots and hiked around! They are such a sweet and cute couple, sooo in love!! It was great after we finished their shoot that Rainer mentioned that was so much easier and relaxed than he had thought, having their engagement photography done.  So lovely to hear as that's my main aim.. I really love to keep it nice and simple, happy and relaxed!!  

When Karina first asked me to photograph her wedding down at Harvest Cafe, just inland from Byron Bay, I was so excited! I have actually known Karina for a long time and I come from down that way so it was very exciting to be photographing around the area. Karina and the girls got ready at Byron on Byron, such a beautiful spot tucked away in the bush land next to Suffolk beach. It was really lovely to hang out with them, there's always lots of laughs! I looved Karina's dress, I have a soft spot for vintage inspired designed and lace, so pretty! I headed up the road to Harvest Cafe, this venue...

Hayley and I had chatted heaps on email so I felt sooo excited for her big day to come!! It was an absolutely amazing day at the Hyatt, Sanctuary Cove! I really like doing shots of the boys before the wedding, I always find them really funny! Nathan and his brothers, got ready along with his parents and it was really lovely to just have their little family time before heading down to the Chapel. Michelle and Owen had decided on a Wednesday wedding up at the beautiful Surf Air Resort at Marcoola. Their ceremony was down on the beach and the reception was in the beautiful resort function room. It was really easy for them having everything in the one area, especially as lots of their family had come from overseas! Michelle's family had come over from NZ and they were all getting ready together, upstairs in the resort. I met with Owen and the boys downstairs, some of his family had travelled out from Ireland so it really was  the perfect blue sky day for them! It's always a little nerve...

Theres' a little bit of a story behind this shoot....this was a wedding reshoot of Naomi and Owen's wedding after their photographer on their actual wedding day, shall we say,  didn't really do exactly what they had expected!! I asked Naomi to do a guest blog so she could tell her story in her own words..she has said some amazingly kind things which makes me get all teary, but reaffirms why I love what I do. I know I always say this but I do love all my couples and they are just so sweet! Jacqui and Josh are a very sweet couple and their beautiful little girl Leila is even sweeter!! Jacqui and the girls got ready at Quest on Broadwater Apartments at Kangaroo Point, lovely and spacious. As Jacqui was getting into her dress there was lots of giggles especially from her adorable little girl who was so happy to just watch the proceedings of the day and be extremely cute! Josh was greeting everyone with huge smiles at the Broadway Chapel, so eager to marry his beautiful Jacqui! They had a really lovely...

It was so lovely to meet up with Sherri and her gorgeous family recently for their family portrait session. We decided on some lovely bushland in Brisbane, not too far from my place actually, to do their shoot. Little Heidi was very very cute and inquisitive, totally adored by her Mummy and Daddy!! xx
