I know I do seem to say all my couples are the sweetest..but they really are!! I’m so lucky to meet lovely, relaxed and totally in love couples like Kate and Steve!
The day started with early morning storms, which can be kind of a worry as you can’t even go out with umbrellas when the rain is coming down so hard! Kate had her sisters, best friend and sis in law as her bridesmaids and they all got ready at Kate’s parents beautiful home. By the time I arrived the clouds were clearing and the sun was peeking out, then blue skies by the time I headed for the Broadway Chapel. There wasn’t quite enough time for the boys photos but we made up for it later on.
Some of my favourite shots at weddings are just before the bride enters, that last deep breath and smile then in they come, just beautiful! Kate has the most amazing smile which makes everyone around her feel so special and happy! You could just feel the love in the room during their ceremony, it was so beautiful.
We were all so pleased the rain went away and we were still able to have a stroll around the streets of West End and the grounds of the Gallery of Modern Art as well. There really are soo many spots to use and the whole bridal party are such relaxed people I could have kept them there all afternoon!
They had their reception at Rydges Southbank on the top level that overlooks the city, such a lovely venue. Their cake was so pretty and was made by the fabulous Sarah Jane from Cake That! along with the lovely Karen from Bliss Floral who did the beautiful floral designs.
Oh and the lovely old wedding cars are from A Classic Benz Brisbane.
