Cider House love traditional dance tunes, gospel, rural American, Irish lilt, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Jimmie Rodgers, Lennon and McCartney, and works by such classic singer songwriters as Richard Thompson, John Martyn and James Taylor. Cider House takes all of these elements and brews in wood.
The result is a sharp, sweet and smooth collection of tunes, held together by two very distinct playing styles. Cider House features Rachel Witney Lacey opening with both violin and voice and Steve Dorahy pouring out Spanish and Baritone guitar.
